More than 50 leads in homicide of Montgomery County reptile farm owner

ABC 17 News has reached out to the Missouri State Highway patrol, who is investigating the homicide of a reptile farm owner who was killed in Montgomery County by an unknown intruder.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said that the investigation is ongoing and they have more than 50 leads.

Back in June, Montgomery County deputies were called to Renick Reptiles, Inc. off of Highway RB because of a possible incident with one of the snakes.

When the deputies arrived at the farm, they found the owner, Benjamin B. Renick, 29, dead from multiple gunshot wounds.
