Moisture from Irma brings clouds to mid-Mo

TODAY: It will be a cloudy, but slightly warmer start to the day as overnight lows drop into the mid 50s. With the cloud cover, there is a chance for isolated showers east of HWY 54, with the best chance south of I-44. Any showers that develop are only expected to produce up to a tenth of an inch of rain. High temperatures will reach the upper 70s with northeasterly winds at 10-15 mph, gusting up to 25 mph at times.

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy skies will remain through the overnight hours as moisture from Irma sticks around. Overnight lows will drop back into the mid 50s with winds out of the north under 6 mph.

EXTENDED: Clouds will gradually clear Wednesday as the moisture from Irma moves to the east. We’ll stay in the upper 70s to near 80 on Wednesday, but will see a warming trend as we close out the work week. By Friday, high temperatures will reach the upper 80s, with overnight lows in the low to mid 60s. It will feel slightly more humid as dew points climb into the low to mid 60s.
