Lockdown at West Middle School in Columbia lifted after incident at Aslin Administration Building

UPDATE 2:07 P.M.: According to Columbia Public Schools, West Middle was on a precautionary modified lockdown due to the suspicious person at Aslin Administration Building.

The administration building was on lockdown since the person was in the building.

The school was on lockdown for 15 minutes.

ORIGINAL STORY: West Middle School was put on lockdown in Columbia on Tuesday.

ABC 17 News has confirmed the lockdown with a source at the school and that the lockdown has been lifted.
