Sunny skies and fall weather to headline the week

TODAY: It will be a gorgeous Monday afternoon across the region, as highs will only climb into the mid 70s. Thanks to drier air filtering into Mid-Missouri from the north, we’ll see plentiful sunshine today with low humidity. It will be a breezy day though, with winds out of the northwest up to 13 mph and gusts as high as 25.

TONIGHT: This evening will remain dry and cool. Clear skies through the overnight hours will allow temperatures to drop into the mid to upper 40s by morning. Winds will remain out of the NW up to 9 mph.

EXTENDED: The rest of the week will feature plenty of sunshine and low humidity. As a Canadian high continues to build into the Central US, we’ll continue to see highs in the 70s through at least Thursday. Wednesday will be the coolest day in Mid-Missouri, as temperatures climb into the lower 70s for highs. By weeks end, we do see temperature rebound back into the lower 80s, but the humidity will be absent making for a beautiful end to the work week.
