Labor Day weekend forecast
This weekend is shaping up to be the perfect ‘unofficial’ end to summer. Clouds will be increasing through Thursday afternoon, but beyond that we will see decreasing cloud coverage as we head into the weekend.
Starting the holiday weekend off, Friday night will be mild with mostly clear skies. Through the early evening, we will see temperatures in the 70s, dropping into the upper 60s around 9 PM. Another great night for high school football!
As we head into Saturday and Sunday we will see a warming trend. Saturday’s high will top out at 83 degrees with low humidity and mostly sunny skies. Into Sunday, temperatures will be slightly warmer with sunny skies. Humidity will be on the increase just slightly Sunday as winds transition out of the southwest. Either day will be perfect to spend outdoors.
For Labor Day we will see very similar conditions! Temperatures will be in the mid 80s under mostly sunny skies. The daytime hours will remain dry, but into the evening we will see a chance of rain, mainly north of I-70.
If you are headed outside this weekend be aware that pollen counts will remain high.
