Sportzone Football Friday forecast

As we head into the second week of high school football, we are seeing picture perfect weather here in mid-Missouri. A passing cold front from the beginning of this week has allowed daytime highs to drop into the lower 80s, with low humidity and mostly sunny skies, which will continue into the day on Friday.

As we head into Friday night we are going to start to see winds shift to the southeast. This will allow some moisture to pump back into mid-Mo, also increasing cloud cover. By 7 PM on Friday, around the time of kickoff, we will see partly cloudy skies with dry conditions. Humidity will remain low as temperatures drop into the mid 70s. Winds will be out of the east under 7 mph.

Throughout game time, temperatures will drop into the lower 70s as partly cloudy skies and dry conditions persist. Mid-Mo will see temperatures in the upper 60s by the end of the fourth quarter.
