Tracking a quiet pattern taking over with summer warmth to come with it

TODAY: I'm tracking sunshine persisting throughout the entirety of the day as temperatures begin in the mid to upper 60s, warming into the mid-80s by the afternoon hours. Winds will be out of the northeast at 5-10 mph, gusting up to 15 mph.

TONIGHT: I'm tracking a mostly clear and quiet evening as temperatures drop back down into the mid-60s by the end of the night. Winds will be out of the northeast at 3-6 mph.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking this quiet, sunny, and warm pattern persisting into the start of the week. Temperatures will begin in the mid to upper 60s Monday and Tuesday, warming into the mid to upper 80s each afternoon as sunshine continues across Mid-Missouri. Wednesday and Thursday, there will be isolated chances for pop-up showers and storms each afternoon, but most will stay dry and sunny as temperatures warm into the upper 80s. By the end of the week and the start of next weekend, temperatures by the afternoon hours can be expected to get back into the low 90s. Luckily, humidity will be on the lower end, meaning extreme heat index values are not expected over the next 7 days.
