Bites, rashes and insect bites being seen in Mid-Missouri

MU health officials say the most common things being seen this week in their offices are bites and rashes.

Dr. Flynn told ABC 17 News this is common for this time of year, as people are staying outdoors later during the cooler weather.

Normally, the doctors offices are packed on Monday’s, but due to the Total Solar Eclipse on Monday the offices were quiet.

Now that school is back in session, Flynn said she expects more people to frequent her office in the coming weeks.
