17-year-old from Eldon charged with possession and promotion of child porn
A 17-year-old from Eldon was arrested on Wednesday for promoting and possessing child pornography.
Seth M. James was arrested after an investigation conducted by members of the Division of Drug and Crime Control’s Digital Forensics Investigative Unit.
On Wednesday, investigators executed a search warrant at James’ home on Kristy Road.
Investigators found child pornography and computer equipment used to commit the crimes. James was arrested and taken to the Miller County Jail.
On Thursday, James was formally charged with promoting child pornography in the first degree and three counts of possession of child pornography with a bond of $200,000.
