Tracking a pleasant start to spring, rain this week

Extended: Spring has truly sprung for Sunday with fantastic conditions to head outdoors! Soak in as much sun as you can before rain chances move in for the workweek. Monday starts off nice before cloud cover pulls in thanks to a deep low-pressure system moving up from the southwest. Widespread showers will arrive late Monday and last into Tuesday morning, with isolated storms also possible by Tuesday afternoon. Rain chances will linger in Mid-MO through early Thursday before the system finally departs, leaving us with below-average temperatures.
