2 weeks until Eclipse 2017 – Checklist
Eclipse 2017 is just two weeks away. Are you ready?
Don’t wait until the last minute to be prepared for this rare moment in Mid-Missouri.
Some of the important items you want to have on hand, obviously and most importantly, include your eclipse glasses.
Also, as we do with our eyes we need to protect our cameras. If you’re using a telephoto lens you’ll need a proper filter. Apple says iPhone users do not need filters and other smartphone users can get one, but many say phone camera lenses are very small and don’t admit enough light to do any damage.
Don’t forget a hat and sunscreen if you’re going to an event and will be out in the sun for a while.
The pros even say bring toilet paper, just in case.
Make sure you have a way to keep track of time. On Aug. 21 , minutes and seconds matter.
