Dense fog for the morning commute

TODAY: A Dense Fog Advisory in in effect Camden, Phelps, Maries, Miller, and Pulaski counties from 1AM through 9AM Monday. Use caution on the roadways, especially in these areas since visibility has the potential to be at 1/4 of a mile or less. The start to your morning will be mostly cloudy and dry with temperatures in the upper 60s. We will see partly sunny skies expected by the afternoon. A few very light and scattered showers are possible this afternoon. Temperatures will stay below 80 degrees with light northerly winds under 10 mph.

TONIGHT: Mid-Missouri will see dry conditions under partly cloudy skies. Winds will be light out of the northeast under 6 mph. Temperatures will dip to the low 60s by Tuesday morning.

EXTENDED: By Tuesday, temperatures will finally rise into the lower 80s under mostly sunny skies. The weather pattern will remain dry through Wednesday until we receive our next chance of rain late Wednesday evening into Thursday morning. This will be the start of an unsettled weather pattern through the weekend. Off and on rain chances are likely through Saturday. Temperatures will stay unseasonably cool through the weekend as we see daytime highs 5-10 degrees below average. Watch ABC 17 News and follow ABC 17 Stormtrack on Twitter for continued updates.
