St. Louis police investigating separate deaths in city

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Police in St. Louis are investigating the deaths of two people, each discovered a little more than an hour apart in separate cases. Station KTVI reports the first involved a body found around 7 p.m. Thursday on a sidewalk across from Ballpark Village in downtown St. Louis. Police have not released any other details in the case, including the identity of the person found. Around 8:20 p.m., police were called to an area around Union Boulevard and Interstate 70, where they found a man who had been shot in the head and was not breathing. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
