Police find man shot to death near Seymour; 2 arrested
SEYMOUR, Mo. (AP) — Police in southwestern Missouri say a man has been shot to death near Seymour and two people have been arrested in the case. Television station KYTV reports that the shooting happened Wednesday afternoon in a rural area east of Seymour. Webster County Sheriff Roye Cole says deputies responded to a call from a neighbor saying there had been a shooting. Arriving deputies found a man dead of a gunshot wound. The man’s name has not been released. Cole says deputies later arrested two people believed to have been involved in the shooting. Their names also have not been released.
