Weather pattern through mid-July

Heat and humidity will take a brief break on Saturday, but upper level ridging will allow temperatures and humidity to rise here in mid-Missouri as winds remain out of the south. For the next week we can expect temperatures to top out in the 90s, with heat indices even higher, even approaching 100 degrees.

After this week, weather models are in agreement that most of the United States will see above average temperatures from June 14 – 20. Mid-Missouri will be impacted by warmer than normal temps, along with drier than normal precipitation.
