Arrest made in Subway robberies

Columbia Police Detectives arrested Shearley Marie McCurry, 35, of Columbia, on Thursday at 4001 South Ponderosa Street for two counts of first degree robbery and two counts of armed criminal action.

This arrest was connected to the Subway robbery on Paris Road on June 19 and the Subway robbery on Ninth Street on July 2.

McCurry was a former employee at several different Subway stores in Columbia before the robberies.
