Three people suffer serious injuries after three vehicle crash in Camden County

Three people suffered from serious injuries after a three vehicle crash in Camden County on Thursday.

The crash happened on Highway 5 on Niangua Bridge after the first vehicle, a 2006 Ford Explorer, ran off of the left side of the road and hit a guard rail, hitting the second vehicle, a 2014 Jeep Wrangler, head-on. The Jeep then hit the third vehicle, a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder.

The Nissan was driven away from the crash, but the other two vehicles were totaled. Both occupants of the Jeep, Amie Daly, 53, of Camdenton and Diane Koeninger, 53, of Independence, were taken to the Lake Regional Hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the Ford, Justin Lucas, 31, of Camdenton, was flown to University Hospital with serious injuries.
