The Boone County Commission is expected to vote on several properties at Thursday afternoon’s meeting.

Commissioners will decide whether or not to issue an order of abatement to be conducted by the Columbia/Boone County Department of Public Health and Human Services.

Among other items listed on the agenda, commissioners are expected to discuss a contract amendment to purchase a new telephone system for the Boone County Emergency Communication Center.

A second reading on a merger between the Boone County Library Board of Trustees and the Columbia Library Board of Trustees is also set to take place.

The commission will meet at 1:30 p.m. at the Boone County Government Center at 801 Walnut Street, Room 333, in Columbia.
