35-year-old man drowns in Gasconade River
A 35-year-old man drowned in the Gasconade River Friday.
It happened just before 2:30 p.m. in Pulaski County, near the Riddle Bridge.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the man, who has since been identified as Mark Concepcion of St. Robert, was trying to swim across the river.
He went underwater and never resurfaced.
The drowning report says he was not wearing a life jacket.
