Child recovering after near drowning at Columbia pool

A child is recovering after crews respond to a reported drowning at a Columbia Pool Friday afternoon.

It happened around 5:15 p.m. at Douglass Pool, off North Providence Road.

ABC 17 News is told the child was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The name of the child or more details about what happened were not released.
