MODOT plans on improving Route 124 and Route B

This summer MoDOT plans on improving Route 124 and Route B after deadly crashes.

ABC17 reported last year four people died on Route 124 and back in February two drivers died after a head-on collision.

The summer project will be a three-phase project. The first and second phase will be to resurface and improve the shoulder on both roads. The third phase will be pavement and sidewalk repairs on Route B.

As of right now, the exact date on the project is to be determined.
