Mizzou falls in first of two games against Mississippi State

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou men's basketball team dropped the first of back-to-back games against Mississippi State, 68-49, on Friday night.

The Tigers were originally supposed to tip off at 6 p.m. in Starkville, however, due to travel issues the team only arrived in Mississippi at about 4 p.m., so tipoff was postponed until 8:30 p.m.

MU, again, had shooting trouble, going just 33 percent from the field and 18 percent from behind the arc. Ronnie Degray III led the team with 13 points on 4-11 shooting.
