Severe Storms Rip Through Mid-Missouri Friday Morning

While injuries have not been reported this morning so far due to severe weather, strong wind gusts of 60 mph were observed bringing some damage in the counties of Miller, Cole, Osage, Maries, Gasconade, and Montgomery counties. Severe Thunderstorms brought power outages. We had one Tornado Warned storm in eastern Callaway County from and Montgomery County from 4:15 through 4:45AM this morning, however we cannot confirm there was a tornado on the ground at this time. Here are the reports from this morning:

3 WNW Mineola [Montgomery Co, MO] law enforcement reports TSTM WND DMG at 04:13 AM CDT — semi blown over on interstate 70 west of Danville.

Montgomery City [Montgomery Co, MO] trained spotter reports TSTM WND GST of E60 MPH at 04:39 AM CDT —

Owensville [Gasconade Co, MO] trained spotter reports TSTM WND DMG at 04:13 AM CDT — numerous trees uprooted and snapped in half

2 W Linn [Osage Co, MO] nws employee reports TSTM WND DMG at 04:04 AM CDT — large tree blown down onto u.s. highway 50.

Williamsburg [Callaway Co, MO] trained spotter reports TSTM WND GST of E60 MPH at 04:17 AM CDT — large tree branch blown down and pea size hail.

MILLER CO: Eldon [Miller Co, MO] public reports TSTM WND DMG at 03:12 AM CDT — a few large limbs reported down.

Viewer in Eldong reports 11 shingles blew off roof in Eldon. Jefferson City [Cole Co, MO] public reports HAIL of quarter size (E1.00 INCH) at 03:15 AM CDT –
