Tracking a wintry mix moving through this morning
THURSDAY
A wintry mix most of us will wake up to will eventually transition to all snow by the late morning to early afternoon. That snow will continue to fall through the afternoon, tapering off this evening. Snowfall amounts will range from _____ north of I-70 to 1-2" closer to I-44. Temperatures will fall throughout the day as blustery north winds gust up to 35 mph.
TONIGHT
Snow comes to an end this evening as temperatures continue to cool. Overnight lows will fall into the single-digits, feeling close to zero by daybreak tomorrow.
EXTENDED
We climb out from there into the upper 30's Friday. We'll reach the 40's on Saturday and keep the trend going to near 60 by Sunday. The warm weather is here to start the new workweek with highs in the low 60's before more rain pushes in by Tuesday. Rain looks to depart by Wednesday, as highs drop from the 40's Tuesday into the 30's
