Dry and windy, warming trend

TONIGHT: Clouds will move through during the evening then clear with overnight lows dropping into the mid to upper 40s. Northerly winds will diminish to near 10 mph after midnight.

FRIDAY: It will be sunny, windy and warmer with high temperatures reaching the upper 60s. Northerly winds at 10-18 mph will gust to 30 mph at times in the afternoon.

EXTENDED: The weekend looks pleasant with mostly sunny skies and afternoon high temperatures in the low to mid 70s. A few more clouds move in Monday with a slight shower chance mainly north of I-70 and east of HWY 63. Most areas will stay dry through Tuesday with a warming trend as high temperatures reach the low 80s Tuesday into Wednesday. There is a slight chance of showers and t-storms Wednesday but rain is more likely as we head into Thursday.
