Strange Donuts closes in Columbia
A downtown Columbia donut shop said Wednesday that it was closing its location due to declining sales.
Strange Donuts announced on Facebook the store at the corner of Broadway and Hitt Street will immediately close.
“It’s been a lot of fun, but there has been a correlation between the student population decline and our sales. We are planning some huge things for Strange and need the energy elsewhere,” the post read.
The other business that shares Strange Donuts’ location, Seoul Taco, will remain open.
