Two men arrested after multiple Breaktime burglaries

Two men were arrested and charged after a crime spree across mid-Missouri counties on April 20.

Victor M. Linton and Allen J. McCray entered the Breaktime at 2441 Pioneer Street in Boonville. Linton had a gun and was pointing it at the clerk and a customer that was inside of the store.

Linton took the customer’s wallet and made him lay face down in the manager’s office. Both men then took money from the clerk and left the scene.

The next morning, the Boonville Police Department got a call about another Breaktime robbery in Higginsville.

According to the probable cause statement, Linton and Allen approached a man sitting in his vehicle at the Breaktime in Higginsville. Linton approached the vehicle with his gun and fired two shots into the passenger side window. Allen shot into the passenger side of the vehicle four more times, hitting the man.

The man who was shot is in stable condition.
