Drying out Monday night, more rain on the way

TONIGHT: Drizzle and light showers will end by early evening and clouds will break from west to east, with skies clearing overnight. It looks chilly tonight with lows dropping into the low to mid 40s. Westerly winds will continue at 8-15 overnight.

TUESDAY: Sunshine returns with temperatures warming to the upper 60s. Winds will come in from the northwest at 10-15 mph.

EXTENDED: Clouds increase Tuesday night with rain developing after midnight south of I-70, spreading east-northeast into Wednesday morning. It looks heavy at times during the day Wednesday, tapering off by evening and shifting east of HWY 63 by Thursday morning. Rainfall amounts of 1-3″ are possible with highest amounts close to HWY 50. Showers move out Thursday morning in our eastern counties and we will see partly sunny skies with high temperatures in the low 60s. Winds will come in from the north Thursday at 15 mph, gusting to 25 mph at times. Friday is looking dry and sunny with no rain at this time for the upcoming weekend.
