Sikeston police investigating St. Louis man’s death

SIKESTON, Mo. (AP) — Sikeston police are investigating the shooting death of a 36-year-old man from St. Louis. KFVS reports the man was found dead early Friday in the doorway of a Sikeston home. Police say a woman at the home said she shot the man when he tried to force his way in. Investigators said the man was the woman’s estranged boyfriend and there had been previous reports of domestic violence. The investigation is continuing. The man’s name was not released.
