UPDATE: Body found in Fulton storage container likely missing man
Update 4/25 2:40 p.m.: In a release from Fulton police, it was confirmed that a search warrant led to a storage unit in Fulton. A large container was filled with concrete and a body that is likely Carl DeBrodie was inside the container. Autopsy results have not been released at this time.
Update 4/25 9:00 a.m. – At least 10 search warrants have been issued in the missing person case of Carl DeBrodie, including one on Saturday in Boone County, Fulton Police Chief Steve Myers told ABC 17 News.
Myers also said an autopsy on the remains found in Fulton will be performed at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday.
Fulton police will hold a news conference at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday and ABC 17 News will have crews there.

Original story – A man’s body was found Monday afternoon in Fulton, but police haven’t confirmed whether the body is that of missing 31-year-old Carl DeBrodie, according to police Chief Steve Myers.
Myers wouldn’t divulge the location of where police found the body. He also said investigators haven’t determined whether foul play was involved.
While police haven’t confirmed the identify of the remains, members of DeBrodie’s family confirmed to ABC 17 News that his body was found Monday.
A Facebook page set up to find DeBrodie also confirmed the news in a post: “All pending searches have been called off. Carl has been found, and will be laid to rest once the family has been given his body. May you Rest In Peace, Carl.”
“I am frustrated and I believe there is a high quality of negligence on the group home, on the people who own the group home, the people who managed it, the guardian, and the state of Missouri,” said DeBrodie’s cousin, Rebecca Summers.
Summers said DeBrodie had been staying at the Second Chance Group Home for the last nine years. He was reported missing from his group home on April 17.
“When a person with disabilities goes into a group home, you expect them to treated like a human being, not killed,” said Mary Martin, who used to be a guardian for DeBrodie.
Family, friends and volunteers have been organizing searches for the missing man since he disappeared.
Summers said family members were about to begin a search Monday off West Chestnut Street when police told them that a body had been found.
“I feel like there was somebody out there that knew where he was the entire time,” she said. “What if that person was with us all week?”
The family originally set up a GoFundMe account to collect money for a reward leading to DeBrodie’s whereabouts. It’s now raising money for funeral expenses.
