Investigators looking for individuals possibly connected to high-speed chase suspect
The Maries County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two people who may know where to find a high-speed chase suspect.
Authorities have identified the two people as Charles “Chad” Hornbeck, of Steelville, and Sereena Matthews, of Cherryville. Matthews also goes by the last name Faries.
The Sheriff’s Office said they also may have helped Billy Place, 27, evade law enforcement. Place is accused of leading deputies on a high-speed chase through several mid-Missouri counties earlier this week that eventually ended in Meta.
