A chance for severe weather leading into Easter Sunday
TONIGHT: Storms will begin to track in from the northwest after 10 PM. This is ahead of a passing cold front, however temperatures tonight will remain mild in the lower 60s. There is a Marginal Risk for severe weather on Saturday night for all mid-Missouri counties with the threats including damaging wind and small to medium size hail.
SUNDAY: Scattered showers and storms are possible through Sunday morning with rain chances decreasing into the afternoon as the rain chance moves south with the front. Areas north of I-70 have a better chance to see dry conditions by the mid to late morning hours. High temperatures will reach into the min 70s. Storms could redevelop along this front south of the Missouri River where over the Ozarks and I-44 storms will be possible during the day on Sunday.
EXTENDED: Most of next week is looking unsettled with rain chances continuously each day next week where rain amounts through next Friday could bring a total accumulation of 1″ to 4″.
