No. 4 Florida gymnastics edges out No. 11 Mizzou

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The No. 11 Mizzou gymnastics team fell in its first home conference meet of the season against No. 4 Florida, but the Tigers did manage to set a new program record with 197.650 points.

The Gators took the meet over Mizzou 197.775 to 197.650.

MU won two overall events on Friday night. Amari Celestine finished on top on the vault with a 9.925 and Hannah McCrary finished with a career-high 9.95 with her floor routine.

Up next - Mizzou will make the trip to Auburn, Alabama on Feb. 11 for another top-10 matchup. The No. 6 Auburn Tigers team features Olympic gold medalists Sunisa Lee.
