Two arrested on drug charges after search of Mexico home

Multiple law enforcement agencies assisted with a search warrant of a home in the 1000 block of East Lafayette in Mexico Friday night that led to the arrest of two people.

The Mexico Department of Public Safety said authorities found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia inside the home.

Gary Reeves Jr. and April Ferrell were both arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The East Central Drug Task force was assisted by the Mexico Department of Public Safety, the Highway Patrol and the Audrain County Sheriff’s Office with the search warrant.
