Cooler to start the weekend, storm chances Sunday
TONIGHT: It will be colder with lows dropping into the upper 30s by morning with a northwest breeze up to 8 mph and mostly clear skies.
SATURDAY: After a chilly morning, temperatures will warm to near 60 in the afternoon under sunny skies with a northwesterly breeze up to 10 mph.
EXTENDED: A few showers or isolated t-storms are possible Sunday morning with the best chance south of I-70. It will be warmer with highs in the low to mid 60s Sunday as winds switch back to the south. By Sunday night and Monday morning the rain chance increases ahead of the next cold front. Showers and thunderstorms are possible after 9 PM Sunday night as a cold front approaches. Some of the storms could produce hail of 1 inch or greater with the best chance north of I-70 where there is a Marginal Severe Threat for large hail. The rain will move out by mid-morning Monday and temperatures will climb to near 70 before falling. Monday night will be colder with lows near 40. It will be cooler next Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the 50s and a chance of showers each day.
