COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

UPDATE: Power has been restored to all users as of 9 p.m. on Sunday.

Around 3 p.m. on Sunday, a widespread power outage was reported in the area of the Columbia Mall.

At that time, the City of Columbia reported 1,637 residents were without power.

Matt Nestor with the city's utilities department said "two circuits are out, everyone was called in, and crews are working on it."
