Netflix documentary ‘Procession’s’ life beyond the film

In Robert Greene’s documentary “Procession,” six men who decades ago were sexually abused by Catholic priests and clergy in the Kansas City area, come together to do drama therapy. The film, which is available on Netflix, has received near-universal acclaim and has been shortlisted for best documentary at the Oscars. But for Greene and the men involved, Joe Eldred, Mike Foreman, Ed Gavagan, Dan Laurine, Michael Sandridge and Tom Viviano, the experience has been validating in other ways. Since the film premiered, everyone involved has heard from family members, friends, strangers and survivors inspired by their stories.
