Chilly Friday, Becoming Breezy
TODAY: It’s a cold morning with temperatures in the mid 20s. Winds are light this morning but will increase in the afternoon. It will be a cold March day with a high of 49. Winds will start to pick up after 3PM where winds are likely to start gusting in west Mid-Missouri near HWY 65.
TONIGHT: It will be clear but windy tonight. Winds will be gusting to near 20 mph by 6PM. Winds look to be the highest overnight near the Lake of the Ozarks where gusts up to 35 mph is possible overnight. Winds will be from the south overnight keeping temperatures above normal in the upper 30s.
EXTENDED: Saturday will be breezy with winds gusting to 35 mph during the day, so outdoor burning is discouraged again this weekend. Areas west of US 63 will see the highest wind gusts, upwards to 40 mph. This could cause issues for high impact vehicles and light weight vehicles. It will still be breezy Sunday with high temperatures in the upper 60s under mostly cloudy skies. Starting next week, temperatures warm to the low 70s Monday with increasing rain chances late in the day. Showers and t-storms are more likely Monday night after 10PM continuing into Tuesday morning where 0.25″ to 0.75″ looks possible.
