Tracking one more setback before more prolonged warmth

TONIGHT

Temperatures this afternoon are back into the 20's area wide, with some climbing near 30 in the southwest. Tonight, winds stay southerly, allowing us to remain in the 20's through sunrise Thursday. If you're up late enough Wednesday night, you may catch a flurry or two.

THURSDAY

Early morning flurries will pass through Thursday, leaving no impactful accumulation behind by midday. Meanwhile, winds remain out of the south and southwest before an afternoon wind shift. This climbs temperatures to near 40 by the afternoon. Then a cold front moves through, turning winds northerly. This drops temperatures swiftly into early Friday.

EXTENDED

North winds drop lows into the teens Friday morning, and hold us around 30 Friday afternoon. We’ll shake off that setback this weekend, getting highs back into the 40’s. We’ll keep the warming trend going to start next week with temperatures pushing into the 50’s. Our next chance of rain holds off until Tuesday.
