Chilly and windy conditions continue for Sunday

TODAY: Our Sunday forecast does hold the chance for some showers today from the mid-morning hours into the early evening. Showers will remain light, so barely any liquid accumulation is expected. Those windy conditions will return by this afternoon with gusts up to 22 mph. Temperatures today will be slightly warmer in the upper 40s and will dip back into the lower 40s by tonight with brisk wind chills in the 30s.

MONDAY: Due to persistent southerly winds bringing in warmer air into Mid-Missouri, we are looking at temperatures reaching mild conditions in the upper 50s. Our skies will remain mostly sunny until the evening hours when another chance for rain moves into Mid-Missouri due to a warm front lifting north. Areas east and along US 63 may see up to 1/10″ accumulation.

EXTENDED: Conditions by Tuesday will be mild in the mid 60s. Another chance for rain and some potential thunderstorms will be possible late Tuesday and into early Wednesday morning. The chance for rain will continue into the first half of Wednesday. The high temperatures for the rest of the week will be reaching into the 50s with lows in the 30s. By next weekend, we may see mild conditions make their way back into Mid-Missouri. For additional weather updates follow @ABC17Stormtrack on Twitter.
