Patrol says 2 killed in crash along central Missouri highway

KMIZ

CENTERTOWN, Mo. (AP) — The Missouri State Highway Patrol says two people have been killed in a crash along U.S. Highway 50 in central Missouri. The Jefferson City News Tribune reports that the crash occurred just after 12 a.m. Tuesday in Moniteau County just southwest of Centertown. Investigators say a vehicle carrying two people went off the left side of the highway, leading the driver to overcorrect and sending the vehicle off the right side of the road, where it rolled. The patrol says 21-year-old Dakota Pace and 23-year-old Christopher Seeger, both of California, Missouri, were thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene. Investigators were unable to determine who was driving at the time of the crash.
