Friday evening snow showers, cold start to weekend
TONIGHT: Snow flurries or a light snow shower are possible until midnight with no accumulation. Low temperatures will drop into the mid to upper 20s with wind chills as low as 12 by morning. Northwesterly winds of 15-20 mph will gust to 25 mph overnight.
SATURDAY: Saturday morning looks frigid with wind chill in the teens through 10AM with increasing sun. High temperatures will touch near 40 with northwesterly winds at 15-20 mph, diminishing through the afternoon.
EXTENDED: Sunday there is a chance for a rain/snow mix during the day and evening starting up after 9 AM for areas near HWY 65 and increasing into Columbia by noon. No accumulation is expected since surface air temperatures will be in the upper 30s to near 40 during this time. Rain ends by early Sunday evening. Another chance of rain moves in late in the day Monday with high temperatures warming into the lower 50s Monday and into the mid 60s Tuesday will be possible with a slight chance of rain and perhaps a few rumbles of thunder during the day Tuesday.
