No. 23 South Dakota State knocks off No. 9 Mizzou wrestling

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Despite winning the highest ranked matchup of the dual, No. 9 Mizzou did fall to No. 23 South Dakota State on Saturday afternoon.

No. 9 Alan Hart moved to 2-0 on the season against South Dakota State's Clay Carlson, as Hart won by a 4-2 decision. MU did manage to pick up four match wins in the dual, however, the Jackrabbits picked up the final four matches to reach the win.

Up next - Mizzou will hit the road to meet Utah Valley and Wyoming in a tri-dual on Saturday, Jan. 29.
