Man pulled over for traffic stop, arrested on multiple charges

A deputy in the Boone County Sheriff’s Department arrested 18-year-old Sean Grissom, after a traffic stop was conducted around 2:30 a.m. Saturday.

The deputy said Grissom was driving suspiciously, which led him to be pulled over.

The deputy said he noticed the smell of marijuana, and said Grissom admitted to having it on him.

The deputy also found a handgun and prescription pills on Grissom.

Grissom was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Grissom was also arrested on charges of unlawful use of a weapon, because he was allegedly carrying a handgun while impaired.
