Camden County burglary investigation leads to arrests

A man is charged, and another could face a charge in Camden County after they are arrested by sheriff’s deputies.

According to the Camden County Sheriff’s Office, its investigation started on Jan. 28 after a reported burglary at a home in the 4700 block of Horseshoe Bend Parkway. Deputies said the burglary happened between late December 2016 and in the middle of January.

Dale Veron Edwards, 46, of Lake Ozark, was arrested Jan. 29 after deputies arranged to meet him. Investigators said they received a tip that some of the stolen property was listed on Craigslist for sale.

Dale Edwards is charged in Camden County with Stealing. A case review is scheduled for Edwards at the Camden County court house on Tuesday, March 21 at 9 a.m.

On Feb. 10, deputies carried out a search warrant at 270 Bittersweet in Four Seasons, Missouri.

Deputies said over $5,000 worth of stolen items was recovered.

David Veron Edwards was taken into custody on a possible receiving stolen property charge.

At last check, formal charges haven’t been filed against David Edwards.
