Monday, February 13 Afternoon Weather

TODAY: This afternoon temperatures are slightly cooler than where we have been. We’ll be slow to warm through the day only topping out in the lower 50s, under a mix of sun and clouds. Some patchy drizzle is possible this afternoon, as a weak upper level disturbance tracks through the region. Most locations will stay dry, with the greatest chance of rain moving in overnight south of the lake. Winds through the day will be out of the south/southwest under 10 mph.

TONIGHT: Skies look to be overcast with temperatures in the mid to upper 30s overnight. Light rain is possible for areas south of the lake through 6AM Tuesday morning. Rain amounts, if any, look to range from .01″ to .05″.

EXTENDED: After morning clouds Tuesday, look for increasing sun with temperatures in the low 50s. Temperatures look to be above normal all week, and possibly into next. By Thursday high temperatures return to the 60s, and this looks to be the trend through next Monday. Conditions look dry the remainder of the week with a southwest breeze kicking in on Thursday. We’ll need to monitor the potential for critical fire weather again this week starting Thursday. For additional weather updates follow @ABC17Stormtrack on Twitter.
