Jefferson City teen injured in Highway 54 crash
An 18-year-old driver was seriously injured in a crash early Saturday in Cole County.
The crash happened around 3:18 a.m. on Highway 54 East just west of United Road. The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the driver drove off the road, his car overturned and he was ejected from it.
He was taken to University Hospital in Columbia to be treated for his injuries. According to the crash report, he wasn’t wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
