Thursday Morning, January 26

TODAY: This morning, cooler conditions are filtering into Mid-Missouri on the backside of yesterday’s cold front. This cooler air will keep us seasonal as we head into the next several days. Highs today will top out in the low to mid 30s, with west winds under 20 mph. With breezy conditions expected, most of the day will see wind chill readins in the lower 20s.

TONIGHT: We’ll see a slight decrease in cloud coverage from the overcast skies that will be prevalent most of the day. Mostly cloudy skies are likely tonight, with lows in the low to mid 20s. Winds will calm down significantly out of the west under 10 mph.

EXTENDED: The end of the work week into the weekend looks more seasonal with high temperatures in the mid to upper 30s and nights in the low to mid 20s. This weekend, we’ll sunshine early in the day Saturday but clouds increase through the afternoon with high temperatures in the upper 30s to near 40. Skies remain mostly cloudy Sunday with high temperatures in the mid 30s and a chance of snow flurries early in the day. For additional weather updates follow @ABC17Stormtrack on Twitter.
