Sunday evening, January 22

TONIGHT: After a overcast and somewhat wet day, conditions will be drying by the evening hours. By tonight, temperatures will be in the lower 40s with skies showing breakage in the clouds. Some portions, mainly to the north may see some areas of patch fog as clouds clear and winds subside.

MONDAY: The start of our work week holds cooler but still favorable conditions. Temperatures in the morning will near the mid 30s, gradually increasing to the mid to upper 40s for an unseasonably warm high. Skies will be partly sunny with winds out of the northwest around 5-8 mph.

EXTENDED: We’ll start warming up again by Tuesday ahead of another storm system. There is a slight rain chance by Tuesday afternoon and again on Wednesday with the best chance for areas north of I-70. Cold arctic air will start sliding into Mid-Missouri by Wednesday evening. After this cold air settles in by Thursday morning, our temperatures will be slightly below the seasonal average for the remainder of the week.
