FRIDAY

Clouds are on the increase and could get low enough to reduce visibility along and north of HWY 24 this morning. We’ll manage to stay dry until showers start to move in this afternoon. Highs will top out in the low to mid 40’s.

TONIGHT

Temperatures will cool off overnight. Enough that the rain will transition to snow between 6 PM and midnight. Once the changeover occurs, it will stay as snow falling into Saturday morning. Roads will likely start to deteriorate after midnight as lows get to the upper 20’s.

EXTENDED

Snow will continue throughout the morning on Saturday before departing by the late afternoon hours. Total accumulations will range from 2-6” around the viewing area, depending on your location. For the latest details on who will see what, head over to the Insider Blog. Temperatures fall Saturday night, reaching the low teens. We’ll bounce back to the freezing mark on Sunday with more sunshine, especially early in the day. Highs step back up into the upper 30’s on Monday, warming even more into the low 50’s Tuesday. A front will set us back into the 30’s for highs on Wednesday, cooling a bit more by Thursday into the 20’s.
